DAP markets reliable, long-lasting products for contractors and do-it-yourselfers. Headquartered in Baltimore, MD, DAP is a leading marketer of caulks, sealants, adhesives, insulating foam, spackling, glazing, and other general patch and repair products.
In 1996, HIT associates began working with DAP to streamline its demand planning process and develop more accurate forecasts. Since then, DAP has enjoyed continued improvement in demand chain management. Recently, DAP decided to augment its Sales & Operations Planning with consensus demand management along with vendor-managed inventory (VMI) capabilities. Once again, it turned to HIT for assistance.

HIT's successful collaboration with DAP continues to this day. HIT is now delivering scorecards and reports along with new Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) functions.
